This is very random, but what I don’t get about daytime talk shows like Ellen or Oprah or whatever is the way that grown women in the audience react when the host walks out. It’s pretty much the same way teenage girls (or the girls in our Bible study) react to James McEvoy. There’s lots of giggling, gaping smiles, hands over mouths (with a little finger-flutter), and ecstatic whispering. What the heck? It’s flipping weird.

I’m not feeling too well, so I left work early and Ellen’s on. She’s talking a lot about sex. This is getting uncomfortable. TV off now.
